The Health Care Crisis
The Health Care Industry is in a state of crisis. It's in the news everyday! Health Insurance rates are rising by 10 - 15% each year and in some cases more. These increases are causing many companies to reduce benefits for their employees, or in some cases drop all Health Care Benefits.
It is estimated that there are 44 million people in America without health insurance and over 75 million are underinsured. It has been a problem with no end in site, UNTIL NOW.
IAB has the solution. In addition to all of the other Association Benefits, IAB has superior health care savings benefits to attack the #1 need in America, access to affordable Health Care.
What do I do First?
The key to this business as in any business is EXPOSURE. IAB has the product. The company has spent the time and money to create the finest health care savings product in the marketplace today all you need to do is EXPOSE that product.
Look at it this way, the news media every day is helping you out by reporting on the health care crisis constantly. All you need to do is expose your availability to solve the problem.
Your First Contact
OK, you make your first contact and begin to tell them all about the IAB Health Care Savings Benefits and the Insured Benefits, and they start to get excited about getting this great product. They start to ask you questions that they would ask an Insurance Agent. All a sudden you realize you are in a situation that you didn’t anticipate. You realize that you really don’t understand what this product is and what it is not.
Now don’t feel bad, because you are in good company. Most people do not understand this product at first. There are some limited Insured Benefits in some of IAB’s Membership Programs, but this product is NOT meant to be sold as an Insurance Policy.

Some of the people you talk with may assume that since the PPO Networks are being utilized with this product that it must be insurance based.
The Insurance Industry is a State regulated industry. Anyone caught representing himself or herself as an Insurance Agent/Representative or selling insurance when they are not, can be fined or prosecuted. So let’s look at what IAB is NOT.
What IAB is NOT
IAB is NOT an Insurance Company. IAB DOES NOT SELL INSURANCE.
Since the IAB Program is NOT Insurance there are some terms that you want to avoid.
Coverage: The word coverage implies that the company will make some payment to the provider.
Our Networks: Although these are the networks we use, using this term implies that IAB owns them which is not true.
Discount Card: IAB is not a discount card, but rather a membership card to the International Association of Benefits that offers access to the PPO Networks. The word discount has two negative connotations. First, to the provider of services it implies that they are giving a discount that they didn’t agree to. Second, to our customers it diminishes the value of our product. It translates in their mind that they are not getting the best product available.
Premium: is the cost of Insurance.
So What IS IAB?
IAB or the International Association of Benefits is just what the names implies. IAB is a membership Association with a great deal of benefits designed to save our members hundreds or even thousands of dollars each year. These savings are in areas like legal fees, auto rentals, theme parks, golf, hotels, and yes health care. When presenting the IAB Product it is important to stress the fact that IAB has other benefits in addition to Health Care Savings Benefits.
In the area of Health Care Savings our programs are designed to ensure maximum savings for our members. This is accomplished by contracting with reputable PPO Networks Nationwide which allows our members to use their fee schedules or contracted rates. Depending on the level of membership there are additional Insured Benefits for members, but again these benefits are not designed to replace a major medical insurance policy.
How Does IAB Work?
In the case of a doctor’s visit simply check the www.iabbenefits.com for a provider or call Member Services at 800-275-1171, and you will be supplied with a list of providers. Before leaving home check to make sure you have your IAB Membership card and present the card to the Physician's office when you go to your appointment. You and your participating physician will receive a statement of savings indicating any amounts due to your participating physician.
How Much Can Members Expect To Save?
The savings to IAB Members who use the PPO Networks varies according to service and contracted rates with PPO. The average out of pocket that an IAB member is expected to pay is based on the cost of contracted rates.
